Step-by-Step Instructions

DESCRIPTION
READYclean™ Wood Cleaner is a blend of industrial detergents and surfactants formulated for both the professional contractor and DIY user. Use READYclean to clean gray, weathered, wood and to remove stains caused by mold, mildew, and algae.

PREPARATION
Protect nearby surfaces and vegetation from over-spray or run-off by wetting down and/or covering prior to cleaning with READYclean. To determine the necessary dilution strength for desired results, test READYclean on an inconspicuous area before full application.

APPLICATION
Once nearby area is prepped and desired solution strength is determined, apply READYclean liberally to surface in a uniform manner using a pump sprayer, mop, brush, or roller. Allow solution to set for up to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly in the direction of the wood grain with a garden hose or a power washer on a low pressure setting, being careful not to damage the wood. Results may vary based on age or condition of wood. If necessary, repeat process and/or increase dilution strength until desired results are achieved. One gallon of dilution mixture covers approx. 200 sq. ft.

NEUTRALIZATION
Once cleaning is complete, use READYbright™ Wood Brightener to neutralize the wood’s surface. READYbright will restore the wood’s natural color and normalize pH levels. Allow wood to dry thoroughly (12% moisture or less) before applying READY SEAL® Exterior Wood Stain.
